THE MUSIC

As I march down the aisle, I wanted this musical couple from our church, Tita Edna (a flutist) and Tito Noel (a violinist) to play something classical (not the BRIDAL MARCH). During the ceremonies, I would request their daughter, Sylvia (who is a mezzo-soprano), to sing some romantic songs. Actually, I’ve no list in particular…hmmm…maybe Natalie Cole songs, or Sarah Brightman. Hahaha…Good luck sa kanya..Of course, I want someone to sing “LONGER” by Dan Fogelberg. This is a very meaningful song since Jess used to sing it to me. Ang ganda ng lyrics. (I’ll post it towards the end of this entry.) When my father was alive, I told him that he’s gonna sing during my wedding. Ni-request ko yung “SUNRISE, SUNSET” from the Broadway musical, Fiddler on the Roof. Wow! Alam ni Papski! Galeng! Well, unfortunately, he won’t be around anymore to sing it to me L Pero I’ll make sure it would still be on my list.

During the reception, I would request my only sis, Des, to bring Noel Cabangon over. (O ha!) O kaya si Gary Granada (Shocks!!! Kileg!!) to entertain the guests with their acoustic classics. Awww….that would definitely make my day very memorable indeed. Tapos, siyempre bandista si fafa kaya dapat may band rin to rock the night away! Hmm…haven’t thought about it yet. I mean, kung sino tutugtog. Probably the guys from the church na rin. (Di ba Emon and Mario? * wink * wink * )

Well…more to come J
